Beatles Lunchbox

  • BEATLES METAL LUNCHBOX from Aladdin Industries 1966.  This sought-after and extremely rare R-8 box of the Fab Four is the first-evr dedicated to musical performers.  Another masterpiece by AL artistic director Elmer Lehnhardt (who invented the “deep-relief 3-D embossing” featured on the main panels of this box),  Using photos by D. Hoffman.  Elmer created wonderful portraits of the fab four on front panel with their signatures - and playing together on the back.  John and Paul's guitar and bass on one side rim with George and Ringo's guitar and drums on the other.  More floating heads on bottom rim with larger signatures on top.  This is the first-ever box dedicated to musical performers – and since it depicts arguably the most famous rock group of all-time – it has become a classic and favorite among collectors.  A wonderful example of this highly collectible Beatles classic!

Condition: Box is complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder).  Box lithos are clean enough for display - with some paint-loss, scratches and blemishes to front and back.  Clean rim panels on top and sides.  General rim wear - with no corner dents or dimples.  Metal hardware is overall nice and shiny.  Inside of box shows significant wear and light rusting - with no previous owner markings.  Box in overall Fine C-7 condition.  NO THERMOS.
